Hello!! I’m officially a blogger now, and this is my first post!!

Last month I spoke to 50 students at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, on principles of success that can be applied to their studies, careers, dreams, spiritual and family lives — anywhere they wish to set goals. I concluded the talk about how TRUE success is not about fame and fortune.

As I leisurely made that two-hour drive home, I thought about how just a week before the Westminster conference one of my daughter’s high school class mates, Jeremy, had written me and said that he had kept the book How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie that I had given each student in their Senior class 20 years ago. Not only that, he told me he has read it several times through the years. It’s moments like that that make your week!!

This got me thinking about the 50 Westminster students I had just spoken to. Would some of them contact me in 20 years? What would they say? I had given each attendee my Three Keys to Success book, and the best thing I could hear from them in 20 years is that the last chapter of the book inspired them to open a new LIFE chapter today.
